The Witches of the Extraordinary Wicked League

Miss Charlotte Pettifer belongs to a secret league of women skilled in the subtle arts; in other words, though it must never be said, they are witches. Using magic, the Wicken League orders and manipulates the world to make it a better place (according to what they consider "the best," a view entirely different from that of the Wisteria Society). When the long-lost amulet of Beryl Black is rediscovered, Charlotte, as the future leader of the league, must ensure that this powerful talisman does not fall into the wrong hands.

And when she crosses paths with Alex O'Riley, a pirate who's nowhere near Mr. Darcy, she couldn't feel more unlucky. But with everyone else chasing after the amulet, Alex and Charlotte decide to join forces to find it together.
