Free fall

Scarlett Vandermeer balances her studies at Stanford with a career as a springboard diver, trying to stay out of the spotlight while focusing on getting into medical school and recovering from the injury that nearly ended her career. She doesn't have time for relationships, or at least that's what she tells herself.

Lukas Blomqvist, world swimming champion, thrives on discipline. That's how he wins gold medals and breaks records: total concentration on every stroke. On the surface, Lukas and Scarlett have nothing in common. Until a well-kept secret comes to light and everything changes.

So they begin a partnership. And as the pressure mounts for the Olympics, so does their relationship. It was supposed to be just a temporary, mutually fulfilling fling. But when staying away from Lukas becomes impossible, Scarlett realizes her heart might be treading on dangerous waters...
